In addition to art therapy, I also offer traditional talking therapy for clients who feel creative expression is not for them.
Psychotherapy is a therapeutic approach which comprises of a number of different styles of talking therapies. It enables you to share your troubles, feel listened to and supported to find ways to move forward. Psychotherapists help their clients to develop a deeper understanding of their emotions by looking at past experiences and helping clients reflect on whether these experiences are still affecting them in their current life. Psychotherapy also examines behavioural patterns which may be causing distress in everyday life. Therefore, we aim to find the very roots and beginnings of your issues and challenges, not just how to manage them now.
